Welcome to Faraway Spells! I am Priyanka and this is my travel blog through which I want to share with you the experience of magical wonder that travel brings into our lives. I am from India and I grew up in Guwahati, Assam which was a very small place albeit beautiful and has expanded into a vibrant city. I moved to Mumbai when I was 18 for my undergrad studies in Psychology and ofcourse to live in a new and big city! 

Obviously, I wanted to move again and decided to go to London for my Masters degree in Organizational Behavior. Living in London was one of the best experiences of my life and I was pretty much awestruck throughout my stay there. Now, back in India I shuttle between Mumbai and Guwahati where I run a horticulture business. 

Ever since I can remember I have been amazed with how travel can enrich our life experiences. I feel exhilarated as I immerse myself in planning an itinerary or beginning research on my next destination. Soaking in different cultures, the buzz of unknown languages, the aroma of local cuisines, getting lost in a maze of tiny lanes can open up our mind and soul like no other exposure. I hope my blog inspires you to travel and never forget that childlike curiosity that we all have within us!
